{History}
This set of knives were manufactured by Gorham Manufacturing Company, one of the largest American manufacturers of sterling and silverplate. Gorham Silver was founded in Providence, Rhode Island, 1831. The White House has used Gorham silver services during many administrations, like Lincoln and Grant to name a few.
